Even though I loved the look of the old site, functionality is the key – so I did a complete overhaul to make way for progress. With the original pic-pal site you were only able to upload, get a link, and resize your images. With the new layout, you can still upload your images and receive a link without having to register – but you can also create an account to keep track of your images, create galleries, add images to your favorites and even decide if you want them public or private. There is also the new commenting feature for registered users.

With all the new bells and whistles, the site is still going to be 100% free.

Our first charity sponsorship will be the Blind Cat Rescue and Sanctuary, Inc. located in North Carolina. Normally our sponsorships are only for one month, but being that we are brand new we will be highlighting this animal rescue organization from now until October 31st.
